Route

Day 01 - Airport PickUp at Kigali Airport & Transfer to Bwindi

Pick up at the airport on the time of your arrival.

Transfer to the Neckview Lodge at Bwindi Nationalpark. Take time to relax after a long flight.

Meet and greet at the lodge`s terrace to introduce the team to the group.

Discussion of the optimal camera settings and recommended equipment for gorilla photography in the dense rainforest.

Day 02 - Gorillas of Bwindi Nationalpark

Enjoy an early breakfast to have enought energy for the day.

Transfer to the parkentrance of Bwindi and instruction in the rules of conduct by a parkranger.

Discussion of the taken photos, free time to edit the photos.

Day 03 - Bwindi Nationalpark

Meet the Batwa-Community and see how they are living.

Visiting the “Pangolin Rescue Centre Uganda”

Taking photos of it`s surrounding birds

Day 04 - Ishasha Sector / Treeclimbing lions

On day 4, we will see the spectacular, treeclimbing lions at Ishasha sector.

Day 05 - Ishasha to Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark

Morning Game-Drive trought Ishasha to see the lions in the morning at sunrise.

Lunch at the waterfront of the camp with a spectacular view to the wildlife, especially birds.

Afternoon boat-photosafari to take some nice shots of hippos, elephants, buffolos and birds in perfect light conditions.

Day 06 - Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark

Morniung Game-Drive to the Queen Elizabeth Nationalpark to see lions, gepards, hyenas an much more.

In the afternoon we will visit the craters to take some beautiful landscape photos.

Day 07 - Queen Elizabeth NP to Kibale Forest

Transfer to the Kibale Forest.

Photo safari on foot trought the Bigodi Swamp to capture primates and birds on eyelevel.

Day 08 - Shimpanzees at Kibale Forest

Shimpanzeetrekking trought the Kibale Forest.

Discussion of the taken photos, free time to edit the photos.

Day 09 - Kibale Forest to Entebbe

Early breakfast

On the way to Entebbe, we take a stop at a tea plantation to take some landscape photos and enjoying a small guided tour trought the factory.

Half way to Entebbe, you will take a lunch break to relax and recharge.

Day 10 - Shoebill at Mabamba Swamp

Early morning boat safari in a canoe to observe the legendary shoebill in perfect light of sunrise.

Day 11 - Mabamba Swamp

Half-day photo excursion to the Mpanga Forest Reserve. Focus on mystical rainforest light, hornbills, turacos, and macro photography. Afternoon free for image editing, portfolio review, and preparation for the return flight.

Day 12 - Returnflight from Kampala

Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
