Route

Day 01 - Airport PickUp at Entebbe Airport (Kampala) & Transfer to Hotel

Pick up at the airport on the time of your arrival.

Transfer to the ViaVia Lodge at Entebbe. Take time to relax after a long flight.

Meet and greet at the lodge`s terrace to introduce the team.

Discussion of the optimal camera settings and recommended equipment for gorilla photography in the dense rainforest.

Day 02 - Shoebill at Mabamba Swamp

Early morning boat safari in a canoe to observe the legendary shoebill in perfect light of sunrise.

Day 03 - Entebbe to Kibale Forest

Early breakfast

Half way to Entebbe, you will take a lunch/break at Mubende to relax and recharge.

Close before we arrive to the hotel at Kibale Forest, we take a stop at a tea plantation to take some landscape photos and enjoying a small guided tour trought the factory.

Day 04 - Shimpanzees at Kibale Forest

Shimpanzeetrekking trought the Kibale Forest.

Discussion of the taken photos, free time to edit the photos.

Day 05 - Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth NP

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.

Photo safari on foot trought the Bigodi Swamp in the Kibale Forest, to capture primates and birds on eyelevel.

Day 06 - Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark

Morning Game-Drive to the Queen Elizabeth Nationalpark to see lions, gepards, hyenas an much more.

In the afternoon we will visit the craters to take some beautiful landscape photos.

Day 07 - Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark

Morning Game-Drive to the Queen Elizabeth Nationalpark to see lions, gepards, hyenas an much more.

In the afternoon we will visit the craters to take some beautiful landscape photos.

Day 08 - Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark to Ishasha

Game-Drive trought Ishasha to see the treeclimbing lions at daytime.

Lunch at the waterfront of the camp with a spectacular view to the wildlife, especially birds.

Afternoon boat-photosafari to take some nice shots of hippos, elephants, buffolos and birds in perfect light conditions.

Day 09 - Ishasha Sector / Treeclimbing lions

On day 8, we will have an other oportunity to see the spectacular, treeclimbing lions at Ishasha sector early in the morning while sunrise.

Day 10 - Gorillas of Bwindi Nationalpark

Enjoy an early breakfast to have enought energy for the day.

Transfer to the parkentrance of Bwindi and instruction in the rules of conduct by a parkranger.

Discussion of the taken photos, free time to edit the photos.

Day 11 - Bwindi Nationalpark

Meet the Batwa-Community and see how they are living.

Visiting the “Pangolin Rescue Centre Uganda”

Taking photos of it`s surrounding birds

Discussion of the taken photos, free time to edit the photos.

Conclussion with feedback session.

Day 12 - Returnflight from Kigali

Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
